It's been a pretty exciting week for Project Teddy Bear!
On Friday, I went with Abby and Adam to see Nathan Fillion at the Apple Store in Soho. I got to meet Nathan briefly afterwards and he signed another bear and took a new picture! (Trivia: One year, I sent thank you cards to every person who had signed a bear for me and included new tags and self-addressed envelopes so they could participate again if they wanted; Nathan's tag was the very first one I got back, signed!)
On Monday, Abby, Danny, Sandra and I went to see a screening Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog at Symphony Space hosted by Joss Whedon. He was interviewed by Ira Glass afterwards and the whole thing was great! We waited around for awhile afterwards, shifting between the stage door and the front door and, finally, movement at the front door! There he was! And he signed again. :) (Trivia: All three times that Joss has signed bears, it's been at Symphony Space. And all three times, Abby has been there.. the first time, doing the waiting all by herself!)
Tuesday morning, up at Fox 5, I saw Angie Harmon coming out the door after an interview. There weren't too many people waiting and she was really nice about signing and taking a picture. SO GORGEOUS in person! (Trivia: I've got nothing. :P)
Oh, yeah, I was up at Fox 5 to get interviewed during Brett Larson's Second Cup Segment on Good Day New York! Check out the video:
After the on-air segment, I got to hang out and do Good Day Live Online, too, which was a total hoot. At one point, I got temporarily booted by Parachute. It was cool, though, because I'd just seen them perform while I was waiting, and they were great! AND they signed a bear!!
