| When I found out that my friend Jill was going up to Stony Brook for I-Con, I checked out the guest list and asked her if she'd be willing to take on bear duty. She enthusiastically agreed... and did a *great* job! | ||
 | Top of my list was Ron Glass... not *only* beause of Firefly, but, because I used to actually watch Barney Miller with my dad and have loved him ever since. When Jill texted me with her progress on Saturday night, she hadn't yet managed to get Mr. Glass, but, she pulled it off by Sunday afternoon. :) (That only leaves Sean Maher and Gina Torres who I haven't gotten from the main crew of Firefly. :)) | |
 | I was also really excited about Carmen Argenziano (Selmak/Jakob on Stargate)... he had signed for Jaime at Dragon Con and, by all accounts, was incredibly nice and supportive... AND his bear brought in $250! So, I asked Jill to thank him for me... and to tell him how much his bear had raised... and to get him to sign again, of course. :) | |
