| Some of you may remember Katie McKee from when she walked with my 2007 team for the Avon Walk in New York... well, when a bunch of us girls decided to go see "9 to 5" on Broadway a couple of months ago, my friend Patty, who's also Katie's aunt, saw my Facebook update saying I was at the show and told me that Katie was working there! Well, a few texts back and forth, and next thing you know, after the show, we're backstage catching up with Katie! Gotta love technology. ;)
Not only did Katie give us a great backstage tour, but she has very generously and patiently helped me get a glove signed by Dolly Parton and the cast of the show as well as bears signed by Allison Janney, Megan Hilty, Stephanie J. Block and Marc Kudisch!! THANK YOU KATIE!!! I'll be launching a big batch of Broadway related auctions in the next day or so in celebration of The Tony Awards this weekend... don't forget to sign up for the mailing list on my website to get notified about new auctions when they go live!! | |

One of my favorite fundraisers... I spend a *lot* of time hanging around stagedoors and sending out letters... trying to get celebrities to sign little tags that I attach to breast cancer bears and auction off.
