| The fundraiser at Fred's on June 9 was a great success... thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported the event... we raised $2330 for The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and had a great time doing it! I'd never really combined the guest bartending with the other "activities" like silent auctions and raffles... and it would have been a disaster without the help of a few people... so special thanks to Sandra, Chad, Abby and Chris for picking up the slack for me beyond the boundaries of the bar. Also, to the bartender who did all the real work -- Matt -- and the rest of the great folks at Fred's! This year, we also had a lot of wonderful sponsors who donated prizes for the raffles and auctions as well as gifts for the gift bags... so, please be sure to support them back! They were: |
